A Pop of Colour With a Handmade Edge
The Brindley pendant takes a classic dome shape and gives it a fresh look in Heath, an earthy green that sits somewhere between olive and moss. It hangs low and confident, whether on its own over a dining table or grouped with others above a kitchen island.
The Heath Finish
Underneath the paint, this pendant is made from hand hammered brass. The exterior is finished in a matte Heath green, while the inside keeps its natural brass tone, and the hammer marks catch the light once the bulb is switched on. That mix of a painted outer shell and a warm brass interior gives the light a dappled, textured glow instead of a flat beam.
How It Works
- Supplied fully wired with a matching Heath green ceiling rose and all necessary fixings.
- Fitted with 1.5m of black fabric cable as standard, so you can set the drop height to suit your ceiling.
- Takes one E27 LED bulb rated up to 6W maximum, bulb sold separately.
- Dimmable when fitted with a compatible dimmable LED bulb.
Where It Works Best
This single pendant suits living rooms, kitchens, dining rooms and hallways. Hang it centrally over a dining table for a warm pool of light, or space two or three across a kitchen island for even coverage. Because the drop height is adjustable, it also works well in a hallway with a lower ceiling.
From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996 when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business later relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting became part of the range later, produced at the same Welsh workshop. The hammered brass interior of this Brindley pendant is a direct result of that hot forging process, shaped and finished by hand rather than cast in a mould.
