A Cluster That Brings Rhythm to a Ceiling
A cluster of hand hammered brass shades, grouped together and hung at staggered heights, turns a single ceiling point into a small gathering of light. This is the Brindley cluster pendant in Tump, a soft pale green that sits over the hammered brass like a light wash, letting the texture and warm brass glow show through underneath.
The Tump Finish
Tump is a quiet, hillside green, matte and pale rather than bold. It is applied over hand hammered brass, so the paint sits on the outer surface while the inside of each shade keeps its bright, dimpled brass finish. Lit, that hammered brass throws the light out in a warm, uneven pattern rather than a flat beam.
How It Works
- A cluster of five to six shades hang together from one 400mm diameter ceiling rose, each on its own flex
- Individual shades measure 260mm in diameter and 270mm high
- Minimum height from ceiling to the lowest shade is 1500mm
- Takes a 6W max LED E27 bulb, not supplied
- Dimmable when fitted with dimmable bulbs
- Not an integrated LED fitting, so bulbs can be changed and swapped as needed

From The Anvil
From The Anvil began in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and started hand forging his own hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business later moved to Llandrindod Wells in Powys and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. This Brindley cluster pendant, with its hand hammered brass and painted Tump finish, carries that same workshop craft into a grouped ceiling light.
