A Cluster of Colour and Texture
This Brindley cluster pendant gathers five dome shaped shades under one ceiling rose, each one finished in a rich Dingle green over hand hammered brass. Grouped together at staggered heights, it turns a single fitting into a small chandelier of colour and light.
The Dingle Green Finish
Every shade is finished in a deep, muted green paint over a solid brass dome, then lined inside with hammered brass. The hammering catches and scatters the light from within, so when the bulbs are on you get a warm, dappled glow rather than a flat wash of light. The exterior finish is matte, so the shades feel soft and painterly rather than shiny.
How It Works
- Cluster of five pendant shades, each suspended on its own black cable from a single round ceiling rose
- Ceiling rose measures 400mm in diameter
- Each shade measures 260mm in diameter and 270mm in height
- Minimum finished height of 1500mm, so drops can be adjusted to suit your ceiling
- Takes a 6W max LED E27 bulb per shade, bulbs not supplied
- Dimmable if you fit dimmable bulbs
We recommend that this fitting is installed by a qualified electrician.
Where It Works Best
Grouped over a dining table or kitchen island, the staggered shades create a real focal point without needing several separate fittings. It also suits a stairwell or double height hallway, where the varying drop heights can follow the line of the stairs. Beyond the kitchen and dining room, it works just as well in a living room or bedroom where you want a strong, characterful centrepiece.
From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working with his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting joined the range later, made at the same Welsh workshop. This cluster pendant's hand hammered brass lining and painted finish carry that same hand forged tradition into a grouped ceiling light.
