A Bold Cone With Real Character
The Hockley pendant is built around a wide, sculptural cone shade with a flat, flared brim. Its scale and clean lines give it real presence overhead, whether hung on its own or grouped together.
The Burnished Brass Finish
This version comes in a burnished brass finish. The metal is worked by hand until natural layers of colour and texture surface across it, from deep golds and bronzes through to hints of blue and purple. Because each shade is finished individually, no two pendants look quite the same.
How It Works
- Takes one LED bulb, 6W maximum, E27 fitting (bulb not included)
- Dimmable when fitted with a compatible dimmable LED bulb
- Supplied fully wired with a matching ceiling rose and all necessary fixings
- 1.5m of black fabric cable provided as standard
- A single pendant light, wired to one ceiling point
Where It Works Best
Its scale makes it a strong single fitting over a kitchen island or dining table. Hang two or three together over a run of worktop or a long table for extra drama, or use it on its own in a living room or hallway wherever you want a striking piece to look up at.
From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996 when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working with his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting became part of the range later, produced at the same Welsh workshop.
That same hand finishing shows clearly in the Hockley's burnished brass shade, where every mark and colour shift comes from the same traditional methods the workshop has used since the start.

Will my Burnished Hockley pendant look exactly like the photos?
Not exactly. Each shade is hand burnished individually, so the colours and patterns on your pendant will be unique to that piece.
What bulb do I need?
