A Bold Dome Shape With Warm Aged Brass Character
The Harborne pendant is a single hand spun ceiling light in solid brass, with a broad 400mm dome that gives it real presence over a table or island. Its rounded, classic proportions suit a period home just as well as a newly built one, and because the brass is left uncoated, it will keep deepening in character the longer it's used.
Hand Finished in Aged Brass
Each Harborne is spun from a single sheet of solid brass, then hand polished to bring out the depth of its matt aged finish. Because the polishing is done by hand, small variations in tone are part of the character of the piece rather than a flaw.
How It Works
- Supplied fully wired with a matching ceiling rose and all the fixings needed to hang it.
- Comes with 1.5m of black fabric cable, which a qualified electrician can trim to set the exact drop height.
- Dimmable when fitted with a compatible dimmable LED bulb.
- Takes one LED bulb rated up to 6W with an E27 fitting, bulb not included.
Where It Works Best

From The Anvil
From The Anvil started in 1996, when former metalwork teacher and joiner Mark Underhill bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products, and the business went on to relocate to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, growing into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware. It still hand forges steel and hot forges brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering, and lighting, including the Harborne pendant, is produced at that same Welsh workshop.

Questions People Ask
Is the Harborne pendant dimmable?
Yes, as long as it's fitted with a dimmable LED bulb. A non dimmable bulb won't allow the light to be dimmed even with a compatible dimmer switch.
Does it come with a bulb?
No, bulbs are sold separately. The fitting takes one LED bulb with an E27 base, rated at 6W maximum.
Can the drop height be adjusted?
Yes. It's supplied with 1.5m of black fabric cable, which a qualified electrician can trim and rewire to set the exact height needed.
Why is this pendant non returnable?
Each one is made to order at From The Anvil's Welsh workshop rather than held as ready made stock, so orders can't be returned once placed.
