A Sleek Statement In Solid Brass
The Frankley pendant is a hand spun, solid brass ceiling light with a clean, contemporary silhouette. There is no fussy ornamentation here, just a confident dome shape that holds its own in any room and casts a warm glow from its brass lined interior.
The Aged Brass Finish
This Frankley is finished in matt aged brass, hand polished to bring out warmth and depth in the metal. The muted, softly weathered tone works equally well against white panelled walls or exposed brick, and pairs naturally with black ironmongery or warm timber furniture.
How It Works
- Single pendant light, holding one bulb.
- Takes an E27 LED bulb, 6W maximum. LED only, bulb not included.
- Dimmable when fitted with a compatible dimmable LED bulb.
- Supplied fully wired with a matching ceiling rose and all necessary fixings.
- Lamp measures 412mm in diameter and 240mm in height. Ceiling rose measures 106mm in diameter and 20mm deep.
Where It Works Best
Hang a single Frankley pendant over a dining table, in a hallway, or beside a favourite armchair in the living room. Grouped in twos or threes, it also works well above a kitchen island. It suits bedrooms too, for a warm, low level glow at bedside height.
From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996 when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting became part of the range later, produced at the same Welsh workshop. The Frankley's hand spun brass shade and hand polished finish are a direct result of that same workshop skill.
