A Cluster of Aged Brass Domes at Staggered Heights
The Brindley cluster pendant groups five hand spun solid brass domes on a single ceiling rose, each one hung at a slightly different length so the group reads as one layered fixture rather than a row of matching lights. It is the cluster version of the single Brindley pendant, built for spaces that want more presence overhead.
Finished in Aged Brass
Every dome is spun from solid brass, then hand finished in a warm aged tone that is left uncoated on purpose. The metal will keep deepening and shifting in colour the longer it is used, and because each shade is finished by hand, small tonal differences between domes are part of the character rather than a flaw.
How It Works
- Supplied as a complete cluster with a matching ceiling rose and black flex, wired and ready to hang.
- The five domes hang from the same rose, each set at a slightly different length, with a minimum overall drop of 1500mm.
- Each dome measures 260mm in diameter and 270mm high, gathered under a 400mm diameter ceiling rose.
- Takes one LED bulb per dome, rated up to 6W with an E27 fitting. Bulbs are not included.
- Dimmable when fitted with dimmable LED bulbs.
Where It Works Best
The staggered drop suits spaces with height to play with, a stairwell, a vaulted ceiling, or the space above a dining table or kitchen island where the varying levels add movement. It also works well in a bedroom, living room or hallway wherever a single strong pendant is wanted.
From The Anvil
From The Anvil began in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and started hand forging his own hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products, and the business went on to relocate to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, growing into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware. Lighting became part of that range later, still hand forged and hot forged from the same Welsh workshop, and the Brindley cluster pendant is one of those pieces, each dome shaped and finished there by hand.

- Keep the finish looking its best with an occasional wipe from a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, which will strip the aged patina.
