Flambeau Sweet Olive 2 Light Wall Light - Gilded Gold

The Sweet Olive 2 light wall light takes its form from the flowing branches and leaves of an olive tree, translated into leaf accents and candle like fixtures across a hand patinated Gilded Gold finish. A crystal medallion sits at its centre, adding a touch of sparkle to what is otherwise quite an organic, botanical design.

Gilded Gold finish

The Gilded Gold finish is hand patinated rather than a flat, uniform gold, so it has natural variation across the leaves and branches, catching the light differently depending on where you're stood. It suits interiors that lean traditional or transitional, especially where warm metals are already in play.

How it works

This is a two light wall fitting with candle style bulb holders. No bulbs are included, so you'll need two to complete it. We'd always suggest a registered NICEIC electrician carries out the installation.

Where it works best

The branch like form and candle detailing suit a more classic setting, either side of a fireplace, flanking a mirror in a hallway, or as a pair in a dining room for a softer, more decorative kind of wall lighting. It's intended for indoor use.

The story behind Flambeau

Joe McKearn founded Flambeau in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in 2000, after coming across a table lamp designed by Paul Gruer, a former fine jewellery designer, in a friend's studio the year before. Gruer's designs, and those of other Flambeau designers since, have leaned toward botanical and sculptural forms of the kind seen in this Sweet Olive range, developed for galleries and interior designers before becoming part of the wider collection. Elstead Lighting has brought designs like this to the UK since 2012, manufactured under licence for 220 to 240V systems and CE certified.
