A tapered lamp finished in cream patina with gold and silver detail
Leda stands on duck footed elements finished in gold leaf, supporting a tapered body in a cream patina finish. Silver leaf spheres and a gold leaf flourishing blossom decorate the body, and a matching tapered shade with a sphere finial completes the shape.

The cream patina gives the main body a softer, aged look rather than a flat cream tone, while the gold leaf feet and blossom, alongside the silver leaf spheres, add contrast without overwhelming the pale base colour. Leda is a single light table lamp, and it doesn't come with a bulb, so add one to your order before switching it on. There's no installation involved, just plug it into a socket.

Its tapered, layered shape suits a bedside table, a dressing table, or a console in a bedroom or living room where its detail can be appreciated at eye level. It's an indoor piece throughout.
The story behind Flambeau
In 2017, Flambeau founder Joe McKearn and Elstead Lighting's Jonathan Lucas formed Lucas + McKearn, a new umbrella brand created to carry both Flambeau and Elstead's designs into the US market on its 110V electrical system, with showrooms at the Dallas Market Center, Atlanta Market and High Point. That partnership grew out of Elstead's earlier work manufacturing Flambeau's designs under licence for the UK from 2012, and Flambeau itself began in 2000, when McKearn licensed the sculptural designs of New Orleans based Paul Gruer. Leda, with its patina finish and sculpted detail, sits comfortably within that same design lineage.
