A mid sized chandelier for everyday rooms
Sitting between the smaller pendant and the largest 9 light version, this 5 light chandelier is sized for an everyday dining room or living space rather than a grand hallway. It carries the same traditional silhouette and detailing as the rest of the Prospect Park collection.
Satin Nickel and Chrome finish
Sleek Satin Nickel arms are accented with crisp Chrome components, with bands of Chrome at the top and bottom of each cylindrical Opal Etched glass shade. Clear pressed crystal on each of the five stems adds a touch of glamour to the tailored, period inspired frame.
How it works
This chandelier doesn't come with bulbs, so you'll need to add five of your own, one for each arm. As with all chandeliers, we would recommend a qualified electrician handles the installation.
Where it works best
Its size suits a dining table, a living room seating area, or a mid sized entrance hall, somewhere that calls for a proper chandelier without needing the scale of the 9 light version. It's an indoor fitting, so it belongs in these kinds of living spaces rather than anywhere exposed to the weather.
The story behind Feiss
One of America's best known decorative lighting names started small: in 1955, Murray Feiss began wiring imported European porcelain figurines into lamp bases in the South Bronx, with shades hand sewn by his mother, Rose. Three generations of family ownership took the business from that modest beginning to a full range of chandeliers, pendants, wall lights and outdoor fittings, its heritage now part of Visual Comfort & Co. Elstead Lighting has represented Feiss in the UK and Europe since 2012, adapting designs such as this Prospect Park chandelier to 220 to 240V wiring. Prospect Park takes a traditional profile and updates it with Chrome banding and pressed crystal for a period uptown look, here in a 5 light chandelier sized for everyday rooms.
