A grand hanging lantern for a porch or veranda
The English Bridle large chain lantern takes the collection's hanging lantern design and scales it up, a genuinely substantial three light fitting meant for a grander porch, veranda or covered walkway where a bigger piece can hang with room to spare. Clear seeded glass fills the paned frame, echoing the stately manor character of the rest of the range.
British Bronze finish
In British Bronze, the larger frame takes on the same warm, aged brown character as the rest of the range, which helps a fitting of this size settle into a grand porch or veranda rather than looking like an obvious modern insert.
How it works
This larger hanging lantern takes three bulbs, none of which are included. As with the smaller chain lantern, it needs a secure ceiling or bracket fixing rather than a wall mount, and given its size we would recommend a registered NICEIC electrician confirms the fixing point can take the weight before installation.

With an IP44 rating, confirmed for this style of fitting across the English Bridle range, it is built for covered outdoor spots, ideally a generous porch, veranda or covered walkway where a hanging lantern of this size has room to swing gently without becoming a hazard. It is not intended for fully open, unsheltered positions.
The story behind Feiss
Picture a small workshop in the South Bronx in 1955: Murray Feiss wiring imported European porcelain figurines into lamp bases, his mother Rose finishing each one with a hand sewn shade. That modest beginning grew, across three generations, into one of America's best known names in decorative lighting, its range eventually covering chandeliers, pendants, wall lights and outdoor fittings, and its design heritage now sits within Visual Comfort & Co. Elstead Lighting has represented Feiss across the UK and Europe since 2012, adapting its designs, English Bridle among them, for 220 to 240V electrical systems. This larger chain lantern carries the collection's coach lantern character, drawn from the English countryside and a traditional stately manor, in British Bronze or Black.
