A four arm chandelier sized for everyday rooms
The Drawing Room 4 light chandelier takes the same Edwardian ironwork as the rest of the collection, with pressed glass bowls in die-cast aluminium fitters and fretwork detailing drawn from traditional British architecture, but in a four arm size that suits more modestly proportioned rooms than its five, six or nine light siblings.
Walnut finish
In Walnut, the ironwork has a deep brown tone with real depth to it, sitting comfortably in both a traditional dining room and a more eclectic scheme looking to bring in some period character without overwhelming the space.
How it works
It takes four bulbs, one for each arm, none of which are included, so plan to add four to your order. As with all our ceiling fittings, we recommend a qualified electrician handles the installation, including checking the ceiling point can safely support the chandelier's weight.
Where it works best
This size works well over a dining table in an average sized room, or as a central hallway light where a smaller scale is more appropriate than a larger chandelier. It is an indoor fitting throughout.
The story behind Feiss
Every early Feiss lamp carried a shade sewn by hand by Rose, mother of founder Murray Feiss, who set up the business in the South Bronx in 1955 around imported European porcelain figurines wired into lamp bases. That small family concern grew over three generations into one of America's best known decorative lighting names, with a range that came to include chandeliers, pendants, wall lights and outdoor fittings, and its heritage now belongs to Visual Comfort & Co. Since 2012, Elstead Lighting has represented Feiss across the UK and Europe, converting collections like Drawing Room to 220 to 240V wiring. Drawing Room itself is grounded in an Edwardian ironwork tradition, its pressed glass bowls, die-cast fitters and fretwork detailing all drawn from British architectural themes of the period.
