Across its five tiers this fitting holds 90 G9 lamps, each rated at 10W maximum, giving a substantial and evenly spread output. Bulbs are not included and should be dimmable if you intend to run the fitting on a dimmer circuit. It's wired to Class I standards, requiring an earth connection as part of installation. With an IP20 rating, it's built strictly for dry indoor use, so bathrooms and similarly damp spaces are not suitable.

A fitting this size needs a proper amount of headroom, think a grand hallway, an open stairwell, or suspended centrally above a long dining table where the full five tiers can unfold. It also has a place in a large living room or bedroom with high ceilings. As it's IP20 rated, this is strictly a dry room fitting rather than one for the bathroom.

This is the largest configuration in the Farnley range, taking the same graduated tier concept up to full metre proportions. Every shade steps out slightly wider than the one above it, so the fitting reads as a single sculptural form rather than a cluster of separate lights. Combining a solid black frame with glass shading at this scale gives it a weight and presence that smaller tiered pendants can't match.
