How It Works

Between the three tiers there are 74 G9 lamp holders, each rated to 10W maximum, and none are supplied with the fitting. It can be dimmed provided you use dimmable G9 lamps alongside a compatible dimmer switch. Electrically it's Class I, so it must be earthed as part of installation. The IP20 rating confirms it's built for dry indoor use only, with no protection against water or damp, so it's not intended for bathrooms.

Where It Works Best

Given its size, this pendant is best reserved for rooms with genuine ceiling height, a stairwell, a tall entrance hall or a dining room where it can hang without crowding the space. It also works in an open plan living area where a single strong light fitting can anchor the whole room. As an IP20 rated piece, it belongs in dry indoor rooms only.

Design Details

This is the three tier iteration of the Farnley range, where three rings of differing diameters stack to create a stepped, layered profile. Smoke glass over a black frame gives the fitting a more subdued finish than some of the lighter glass tones in the same range, with the tiered structure remaining the defining feature of the design.
