Smoked glass takes some of the brightness out of the light output here, giving a gentler glow that suits rooms used more for relaxing than task lighting, and it works well against the warmth of the brass frame. The same design is available in satin black and polished nickel too, with clear or amber glass as options if smoke isn't quite what you're after.

How It Works

There are 56 G9 lamp holders on this pendant, each one rated to 10W maximum, with bulbs sold separately. Fit dimmable G9 lamps and it can be used with a compatible dimmer switch. It's wired to Class I standards, so an earth connection is required at installation. Its IP20 rating means it has no protection against moisture, making it suitable for dry indoor rooms only, not bathrooms.

Where It Works Best

This pendant is designed for dry indoor spaces, a dining room or living room with a good ceiling height works well, as does a large bedroom or hallway. The drop adjusts from 90cm to 500cm, giving enough range to suit anything from a standard room to a taller void.

Design Details

This is one of the finish options in the Farnley range, which uses a two tier arm structure to hold its 56 lamp holders at two separate heights. The construction stays simple, a metal frame in a brass finish with a series of small glass shades repeated across both tiers, but it's that repetition that gives the fitting its chandelier like scale.
