The combination of brass and smoked glass gives this Farnley pendant a slightly more subdued, moody look compared to the clear glass versions, though it still carries the full 32 G9 lamp holders across its two tier frame. Dropping from 80cm down to a metre, it needs a room with a reasonably high ceiling to do it justice.

It makes sense as the main fitting in a dining room or a larger living room where you want a chandelier style light without it feeling too bright or exposed. The brass frame keeps things feeling warm, and the smoked glass tones down the light output for a gentler overall glow.
