A single GU10 spotlight bulb sits in the centre, taking bulbs up to 25W. There's no on/off switch on the fitting itself: it's controlled via a wall switch. The fitting is Class II rated, and is dimmable if you use dimmable GU10 bulbs and a compatible dimmer. The compact square design means it takes up minimal visual real estate on the ceiling.

Questions People Ask

Can I really paint the gypsum?
Yes, that's the whole point. Use emulsion paint to match your ceiling colour, and the fitting will blend in when the light is off.

What happens if I paint over the edges?
A small amount of overpaint doesn't matter. The fitting is designed to live on the ceiling, so small imperfections won't be noticed from below.

Is it suitable for a suspended ceiling?
You'd need to check with your electrician, but surface mounted fittings generally don't work well with suspended ceilings. Recessed spots are a better choice for that application.
