Theydon is finished in a soft white gypsum that can be painted to match any scheme, which makes this pendant a genuinely flexible choice if you want the fitting to disappear into your decor rather than stand out from it. The single pendant takes a G9 lamp and suits kitchens especially well, including hanging in pairs or a row above an island, though it works just as happily in a hallway or dining space.
The gypsum body has a plain, almost architectural shape that reads as understated during the day and warms up nicely once lit in the evening. Because the surface takes paint so well, it is a good option if you have already settled on a wall colour and want your lighting to follow suit rather than compete with it.
