Summerfield's cylindrical pendant carries a diamond imprint across its surface that creates a mesh like texture as the light catches it, giving off a nice bit of pattern and shadow rather than a flat glow. This particular piece is a single 20cm drop finished in sand black, and it is part of a wider Silo range that also includes wall lamps and spotlights sharing the same look, so it is easy to match fittings across a room.
It suits a kitchen island or breakfast bar particularly well, though it works just as happily as a single drop in a hallway, snug or bedroom where you want a compact ceiling light with a bit of texture rather than a plain drum shade.
