This round frame suspends five sockets in a balanced circle, finished in copper that brings natural warmth to the hardware itself. Where a linear frame is orderly, this circular arrangement creates something more visually complete and sculptural, even before you add shades to it.

Choosing Your Finish

Copper is chosen for its warmth, sitting between gold and bronze without being quite either. As it ages naturally, it darkens and develops patina, gaining character over time. The Springfield round layout comes in other finishes if you prefer something cooler or if a warmer metal tone does not match your existing metalwork.

How It Works

Five E27 sockets, each rated for bulbs up to 20W (bulbs not included). Class II wiring means the frame is double insulated with no earth connection needed. Add dimmable bulbs and a dimmer switch to control brightness. IP20 rating limits this to indoor dry spaces, away from splashing water or high humidity.

Where It Works Best

Bedrooms, dining spaces, living rooms and hallways all suit a circular multi drop frame. The spread of five light sources creates a more even overall illumination than you would get from a single pendant, and the circular geometry feels more complete in spaces where it will be seen from different angles. With a maximum drop of 250cm, tall ceilings work well with this design.

The frame is iron coated in copper, with five sockets evenly positioned around the circumference. The restraint in the design—nothing more than a simple ring and five attachment points—lets whatever shades you choose take visual prominence while the warm metal gives tonal unity to the arrangement.

Questions People Ask

Will the copper finish stay bright or does it change?
It will naturally age and darken, developing a patina. If you want to keep it bright copper, you can polish it gently, but many people prefer the aged character it develops over time.

Can I use different shades on each of the five drops?
Yes, absolutely. The whole purpose of a frame only kit is to give you freedom to mix shades, colours and sizes however you like.

How does a circular frame perform compared to a linear one?
The circular arrangement spreads light from five directions rather than four or more in a line, creating more even illumination and a different visual balance in the space.
