Green glass gives this Springfield oval sphere shade a distinctive character, with soft ribbing running around its 30cm frame to catch and scatter the light. Sold as a shade only, it's built for an E27 fitting, so it slots onto most standard pendant or lamp bases without any fuss.
It brings a splash of colour into a room while still giving off a warm, usable light, which makes it well suited to living rooms, snugs and bedrooms where you want a bit of personality overhead or on a side table. The glass is simple to dust and wipe down, and the green tone works nicely against brass or black fittings.
