Here the Springfield linear pendant comes in brass gold with three smoked glass shades, each a 20cm tube with a ribbed surface that catches the light nicely. The smoked tint takes the edge off the brightness from the three E27 lamp holders, giving a softer glow that still throws plenty of light along the length of the fitting.

It is designed to run along a surface rather than hang as a single drop, so it suits a kitchen island or a long dining table where you want consistent light across the whole space. A wide hallway would work too. Once you have fitted three E27 bulbs of your choice, it is ready to switch on.
