This 16cm cylinder shade from the Springfield range is made from smoked fade glass, darker at the top and softening towards the base, giving a subtle gradient effect once a bulb is fitted. It is designed to work with E27 fittings, so it is an easy way to update or personalise an existing pendant or wall light without replacing the whole fitting.
Being sold as a shade only, it suits anyone looking to refresh a living room, bedroom or hallway light with a bit more visual interest, or to mix and match shades across a multi pendant cluster. The smoked glass keeps the light soft and slightly moody rather than bright and stark.
