The fitting is wired to Class I electrical standards, requiring an earth connection. The integrated LEDs mean no separate bulbs to replace, and an inline switch controls the whole lamp on and off. It is not dimmable, but the directional spotlights let you angle the light to suit the task or mood. The IP20 rating indicates it's designed for indoor use on a dry, flat surface only.
