The base holds a single E27 lamp fitting (bulbs not included, 20W maximum) and comes with an inline switch for straightforward on and off operation. It meets Class II electrical standards, meaning it doesn't need an earth connection during installation. Dimmable light is possible if you use dimmable bulbs with a compatible dimmer.

This base is intended for dry indoor use in living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and dining rooms. It works best on a side table, dressing table or sideboard where its modest footprint won't clutter the surface. Not suitable for bathrooms or damp areas.
