A single E27 bulb, rated to 20W maximum, sits at the end of the flexible arm where you position it. The fitting is wired to Class II standards, meaning it doesn't require an earth connection. It's not rated for bathroom use due to its IP20 rating, which limits it to dry indoor areas only, and you can dim it if you use dimmable bulbs with a compatible dimmer.

How long does the flexible arm stay in one position?
The silicone joints are designed to hold any position indefinitely. It won't droop or gradually slip over time once you've bent it where you want it.

Can I use this in a kitchen near the sink?
The IP20 rating means it's for dry indoor use only, so it needs to be kept away from splashing water. A position above a worktop away from the sink is fine, but not directly over a wet area.

Is this too heavy to adjust regularly?
No. At just 0.5kg it's light enough to reposition easily by hand whenever you want to change the light direction.
