What happens when the LED fails?
The integrated LED has a long lifespan and comes with a 3 year warranty. If it does fail within that period, the whole fitting is covered, though LED replacement after warranty expiry would be a professional job rather than a quick bulb swap.
Is it bright enough for task lighting?
Yes, at 8W and 640 lumens it provides genuine usable light, not just accent lighting. It works well as a reading light beside a chair or as a hallway light where you need to see clearly.
