It is sold as the shade only, so you can pair it with your own base, giving a warm, softly diffused glow rather than a harsh direct light.
Being glass and metal, it works well as the finishing piece on a table lamp or wall lamp in a living room, snug or bedroom where you want some traditional character without going fully vintage. As it is a shade only, please check the fitting size against your existing lamp base before ordering.
