An Uplighter Pendant With a Grey Tiffany Twist

Cranbourne sends its light upward rather than down, using a 30cm Tiffany style shade in grey glass with a pattern loosely drawn from Aztec motifs and finished with small clear crystal accents. Because the light bounces off the ceiling first, the glow it gives is softer and more diffused than a typical downlit pendant.

Choosing Your Finish

Here the glass runs in cool greys and neutrals rather than the warmer amber tones you'll find on some other Tiffany style pieces, making it easier to place in monochrome or muted colour schemes. Other colourways may exist elsewhere in the range if you'd prefer something warmer.

How It Works

A single E27 lamp holder takes a bulb up to 60W (not supplied), suspended on a cord with a maximum drop of 179cm and fitted with an adaptor for installation. It's dimmable provided you use dimmable bulbs with a compatible dimmer, and it's wired to Class I standard, which means it needs an earth connection. The IP20 rating means it's designed for dry indoor rooms only.

With an IP20 rating, keep this one out of bathrooms and anywhere damp. It works nicely as a central fitting over a dining table, or as a statement piece in a living room, bedroom or hallway.

Design Details

Made from genuine Tiffany glass with a resin and iron frame and K9 crystal detailing, Cranbourne's uplighter format is a slightly different take on the usual pendant, throwing its pattern and colour up toward the ceiling rather than straight down. The Aztec inspired motif gives the shade a bit more visual rhythm than a plain floral or geometric design.
