Fabula Chatsworth Diamond Mesh Outdoor LED Wall Light IP65

Diamond Cut Outs That Throw Patterned Light

This outdoor wall light has a slim, rounded body punched with bands of diamond shaped cut outs at the top and bottom. Light from the integrated LEDs escapes through the openings and up and down the wall behind it, so a plain brick or render surface ends up with a lacy pattern after dark. It is rated IP65, so it is built to stay outside through the British weather.

Choosing Your Size and Finish

It comes in two finishes. Anthracite is a deep, soft charcoal that sits comfortably against brick, slate and painted cladding. Cacao is a warm chocolate brown that suits timber, stone and warmer render colours. Both have a gold toned inner that adds a gentle glint through the cut outs. There are two sizes, a compact 12.5 x 26cm and a larger 16 x 30.5cm. The Chatsworth range also includes other pattern designs if you want to mix and match around the house.

Sizes, Finishes and Specifications

How It Works

Two 6.5W LEDs are built into the fitting, one lighting upwards and one downwards, giving around 900 lumens of warm white light at 3000K. The supplier lists a beam angle of 240 degrees. Because the LEDs are integrated, there are no bulbs to buy or replace. It is not dimmable. This is a Class II fitting. We would always recommend having it installed by a qualified electrician.

Where It Works Best

The IP65 rating makes it suitable for outdoor walls. It works beside a front door, on a porch or garage wall, along a patio or around a garden room, where you want soft, decorative light rather than a harsh floodlight. The up and down spread also helps to mark out a doorway or a path edge without glare. Fitted in pairs either side of a door, it gives a balanced, welcoming look.
