This Buckhurst shade is a generous 600 x 210mm drum finished in a wood effect design, grey oak on the outside with a white laminate lining that helps bounce light back down into the room. It's sold as the shade only, so it's ideal if you already have a base or pendant fitting you'd like to refresh, or if you're after a bigger shade than the one that came with your lamp. The wood effect finish gives it a slightly more interior design led look than a plain fabric or glass shade.

Its size and neutral tones make it a good match for a large table lamp base in a living room, or as a wide pendant shade over a dining table. The grey oak and white combination works well in Scandinavian style or natural, understated schemes. As with any fabric or laminate shade, keep it away from damp rooms.
