The domed shade is made up of handcrafted fanned, feather shaped panels in cream with grey tipped edges, so it keeps the leaded glass character without feeling ornate or dated. Light filters through the textured glass panels to create a soft, mottled glow.

This fitting comes in a colour combination of grey and white, an understated palette that lets the beautiful handcrafted glasswork take centre stage. How It Works

Amberley takes two E14 (Candle) bulbs of up to 20W each, sold separately. The two bulbs give an even spread of light through the glass panels rather than a single hot spot. Wired to Class I standards, it needs an earth connection. Dimmability isn't available on this fitting, so you'll need to control brightness through your chosen bulb wattage.

Is each shade unique?
Yes. Because the glass is handcrafted, there are subtle variations in the colour and pattern of each panel. This adds to the charm, but it does mean no two fittings are exactly identical.

What kind of bulbs should I use?
E14 (Candle) bulbs of up to 20W each. LED candle bulbs work beautifully and last much longer than incandescent, so you'll spend less time replacing them.

Can I use it in a bathroom?
No, this fitting is IP20 so it's only suitable for dry rooms. The handcrafted glass wouldn't be safe around moisture and splashing water anyway.
