How It Works

The lamp takes a single E27 bulb (not included) with a maximum wattage of 60W, housed inside the Tiffany shade. An inline switch on the power cord controls the light, making it simple to turn on and off from your seating position. It's Class II wired, so it's double insulated and doesn't need an earth connection.

Design Details

The Tiffany technique assembles numerous individual pieces of coloured glass into the shade using lead work, creating patterns and visual depth impossible to achieve with plain glass. The metal framework is iron, with resin reinforcement at the joints and K9 crystal elements that catch and refract light through the shade. Each piece is labour intensive to construct, which is why Tiffany shading has remained valued for over a century.

No, this lamp isn't dimmable. You control brightness by switching it on or off, or by choosing bulbs in different colour temperatures to warm or cool the light.

Will the blue glass fade over time?
