Amberley is a single downlighter pendant with a handmade Tiffany shade in soft grey and cream tones. The downward pointing light is direct and intentional, making it work well above a table or counter where you want to illuminate a specific area. The warm cream tones of the glass soften the light without dimming it, giving a glow rather than clinical brightness.

How It Works
A single E27 lamp holder points downward into the Tiffany shade, concentrating light onto the surface below. The handmade glass is made from individual pieces joined with lead came, which creates visual interest and splits the light into warm and cool tones as it passes through. Class I electrical standards mean it has an earth connection built in. The pendant needs a ceiling rose adaptor for installation, which is not included.

Design Details

What's the difference between this and an uplighter?
Downlighters point light down at a surface, so they're ideal for tables and counters. Uplighters bounce light off the ceiling for softer, indirect ambient light.
Are the bulbs included?
No, this pendant takes one E27 bulb sold separately. An LED bulb keeps running costs low.
Will this shade break easily?
The Tiffany glass is real glass held together with lead came, so it's robust. Treat it as you would any glass shade and it will last many years.
