Endon Twist Table Lamp - Oak Effect Resin & Ikat 25cm Coral Pink Fabric Shade

An Oak Effect Twist Base With A Coral Pink Ikat Shade

The Twist table lamp pairs a slender rope twist stem in a warm oak effect finish with a 25cm pleated shade in coral pink and white ikat. It is a small lamp, 51.5cm tall in total, but the colour does a lot of work, bringing a cheerful note to a bedside table, a sideboard or a reading corner without taking up much room.

Oak Effect Resin And A Handmade Coral Pink Faux Silk Shade

The base is moulded in resin and finished to look like pale oak, with a fine grain running through the twisted column and the round stepped foot. Because it is resin rather than solid timber, the twist stays sharp and even from top to bottom. A brass finish lamp holder sits on top of the stem and a natural braided cable runs from the back of the base.

The shade is made by hand from digitally printed faux silk in a coral pink ikat, a soft blurred pattern of pink, peach and white that reads as watercolour from across the room. It is gathered into fine pleats and tapers from 25cm at the bottom to 12.5cm at the top, with taped edges top and bottom and a plain inner lining that gives the light a warm, even glow.

How It Works

This is a plug in table lamp. It takes one E14 small screw cap LED bulb, which is not included, and it is not dimmable. You switch it on and off with an inline switch on the cable. The cable is a 1.5 metre natural braided flex, and the lamp is supplied with a European two pin plug and a UK three pin adapter, so it is ready to use in a UK socket. The base comes assembled. You just fit the bulb and sit the shade on top.

Where It Works Best

With a 25cm shade and a height of 51.5cm, the Twist fits comfortably on a bedside table, a hall console or a low shelf. The oak effect base sits easily with light wood furniture and neutral walls, and the coral pink ikat lamp shade adds colour to a bedroom or living room that is otherwise calm and pale. If you want the same look as a floor lamp, Endon makes a matching Twist floor lamp in the same finish.
