Rome is a tall two light floor lamp built around a slim double stand in a black chrome finish, with one arm holding an uplighter shade and a second adjustable branch reaching over to hold a reading light. Both shades are made from opal glass, which sits well against the black chrome frame and gives a soft, even spread of light rather than a harsh glare.
The lamp stands 180cm tall with a base diameter of 50.5cm and weighs 6.1kg, so it needs a reasonably steady spot on the floor. It takes one 230W R7s tungsten bulb (117mm) for the uplighter and one 33W G9 capsule bulb for the reading arm, neither of which are supplied, and it can be dimmed if dimmable bulbs are fitted. Wired to Class I electrical standards and backed by a 2 year warranty, it suits living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways.
