Gloss Cotswold Green Steel And Faux Linen Fabric

The base and stem are steel, every sphere finished in a high gloss paint that Endon calls Cotswold green, a soft sage tone that catches the light and shows gentle reflections. The 35cm Leaf shade is made by hand, gathered and pleated into a tapered shape, from a faux linen fabric digitally printed with a fine leaf pattern in herb garden green on cream. The top and bottom rims are taped and the inside is plain lined, so the glow is even and the printed leaves show up clearly when the lamp is on.

How It Works

This is a plug in floor lamp, so there is nothing to wire. It takes one E27 screw cap LED bulb, which is not included, and it is not dimmable. You switch it with an inline foot switch set into the cable, so there is no need to reach up under the shade. The cable is a green braided fabric flex that matches the paint, 1.5 metres from the plug to the foot switch and a further half metre up to the lamp. It is supplied with a European two pin plug and a UK three pin adapter, so it is ready to use here in the UK. The stem comes in three sections that fit together, and the shade sits on top.

At just over 150cm this is a reading height lamp. Put it beside an armchair or at the end of a sofa and the shade sits roughly at eye level when you are seated.
