The Diamond Tall wall light takes a stepped diamond backplate in antique brass and adds a long, slender stem that rises well above it, so the 16cm pleated shade sits high on the wall. The shade is printed with a small leaf pattern in herb garden green on an off white ground, which gives this antique brass wall light a soft country feel without tipping into chintz.

The wall back is hand crafted from solid cast metal and finished in a brass patina, so the surface has a gentle, aged warmth rather than a polished gleam. From the centre of the diamond a short arm meets the tall vertical stem, which carries an authentic brass B22 lamp holder at the top and continues below the arm as a slim drop.

The tapered shade is handmade with gathered pleats and cut from digitally printed faux linen in the herb garden green leaf design. The top and bottom edges are taped and the inside is plain lined. Switched on, the pleats glow a warm cream and the green leaves show through as a soft silhouette. Switched off, the print sits crisp and fresh against the wall.

How It Works

This is a hardwired, wall mounted fitting rated Class I. It takes one B22 bayonet LED bulb of up to 7W, not supplied, and it is dimmable when paired with a dimmable LED bulb and a compatible dimmer switch. The shade is packed in its own box and sits over the lamp holder once the fitting is fixed to the wall, so there is a little simple self assembly.
