The Diamond Curve wall light pairs a stepped, diamond shaped cast backplate in antique brass with a gently sweeping arm and a 16cm pleated shade in a green and white zigzag print. It is a small, decorative brass wall light that reads as traditional from a distance and surprisingly fresh up close, mostly thanks to that shade.

The wall back is hand crafted from solid cast steel and finished in a brass patina, so it has the soft, slightly mottled warmth of old brass rather than a bright lacquered shine. The curved arm ends in an authentic brass B22 lamp holder, which sits just inside the shade.

The shade itself is handmade with gathered pleats, tapered in shape, and cut from digitally printed faux silk in a Cotswold green zigzag pattern. The edges are taped and the inside is plain lined, so when the light is on the colour glows softly through the pleats and when it is off the print stays crisp against the wall.

How It Works

This is a hardwired, wall mounted fitting rated Class I. It takes one B22 bayonet LED bulb of up to 7W, which is not supplied, and it is dimmable when used with a dimmable LED bulb and a compatible dimmer switch. The shade is supplied separately in its own box and simply sits over the lamp holder once the fitting is on the wall.
