A Cast Brass Diamond With A Crisp White Shade
The Diamond Angle wall light is a quietly handsome antique brass wall light. A stepped diamond backplate in cast steel carries a straight arm that turns sharply upward to hold a 16cm tapered shade in vintage white fabric. The shape is simple and a little architectural, so the fitting suits a period hallway and a newly plastered bedroom equally well.
Brass Patina Casting And A Vintage White Cotton Mix Shade
The wall back is hand crafted from solid cast steel and given a brass patina finish. Up close you can see the mottling and depth in the metal, which is what gives it an aged, lived in feel rather than a polished one. The angled arm ends in an authentic brass B22 lamp holder, which sits just inside the shade.
The Ivy shade is a handmade tapered shade in a vintage white cotton mix fabric with an almond white taped edge top and bottom. The two tones are close, so the trim reads as a soft border rather than a stripe. Switched on, the weave of the fabric shows gently through the glow. Switched off, it looks clean and calm against the brass.
How It Works
This is a hardwired, wall mounted fitting and it is rated Class I. It takes one B22 bayonet LED bulb of up to 7W, which is not supplied. It is dimmable when fitted with a dimmable LED bulb and used with a compatible dimmer switch. The shade is packed in its own box and simply sits over the lamp holder once the wall back is fixed in place.

Where It Works Best
The fitting measures 25.5cm high, 16cm wide and projects 19.5cm from the wall, so it is compact enough for a bedside wall light or a narrow landing. Fit a pair either side of a bed, a mirror or a chimney breast, or run three along a hallway for a soft, even wash of light. The white shade keeps the look light and fresh, and the antique brass warms up grey, sage and off white walls particularly well.
