The Dahlia Swan wall light takes its name from the round, fluted backplate, cast with radiating ribs like the petals of a dahlia, and the swan neck arm that curves out from its centre. On top sits a 16cm Leaf shade, pleated by hand in a sage green sprig print on an off white ground. Together they make an antique brass wall light with a soft, botanical feel that suits a cottage bedroom as happily as a smart town hallway.

Cast Brass Patina And A Faux Linen Leaf Print

The backplate is hand crafted from solid cast steel and finished in a brass patina. The ribs catch the light at different angles, so the finish looks richer and more varied than a flat brass disc would, with a gently aged tone rather than a polished shine. The slim swan neck arm is steel in the same finish and carries an authentic brass B22 lamp holder at its tip.

The Leaf shade is handmade with gathered pleats and a tapered shape. The fabric is a digitally printed faux linen with a small scattered leaf motif in herb garden green, finished with taped edges and a plain inner lining. Lit, the green sprigs show up against a warm glow. Unlit, the pleats give the print a lovely texture against the wall.

This is a hardwired, wall mounted fitting rated Class I. It takes one B22 bayonet LED bulb of up to 7W, not supplied. It is dimmable when paired with a dimmable LED bulb and a compatible dimmer switch. The shade comes in its own box and sits over the lamp holder once the wall fitting is up, so assembly takes a matter of minutes.
