A Fluted Brass Disc And A Scattering Of Green Leaves
The Dahlia Curve wall light takes its name from the round, fluted backplate, which is cast with radiating ribs like the petals of a dahlia. From its centre a slim antique brass arm curves out and up to hold a 16cm pleated shade printed with small green leaves on an off white ground. It is a compact antique brass wall light with a soft, botanical feel that suits country cottages and city flats alike.
Cast Brass Patina And A Leaf Print Pleated Shade
The backplate is hand crafted from solid cast steel and given a brass patina finish, so the ribs catch the light with a gentle, aged glow rather than a polished shine. The curved arm is steel in the same finish and ends in an authentic brass B22 lamp holder.
The shade is handmade, with gathered pleats and a tapered shape, from digitally printed faux linen in a herb garden green leaf pattern. The top and bottom edges are taped in the same fabric and the inside is plain lined. Switched on, the light warms the off white ground and the green leaves show as a soft silhouette. Switched off, the print sits crisp and fresh against the wall.
How It Works
This is a hardwired, wall mounted fitting rated Class I. It takes one B22 bayonet LED bulb of up to 7W, which is not included. It is dimmable when fitted with a dimmable LED bulb and used with a compatible dimmer switch. The fitting arrives as two boxes, one for the wall bracket and one for the shade. Once the bracket is on the wall, the shade simply sits over the lamp holder.

Where It Works Best
At 19cm high, 16cm wide and 25.5cm projection from the wall, it is a gentle accent light rather than the main source in a room. Try it either side of a bed in place of table lamps, flanking a mirror in a hallway, or in a pair above a sideboard in a dining room. The green leaf shade sits happily against cream, sage and soft white walls and looks lovely next to oak, pine and other natural timbers.
