A drum shade traced in diamonds
Ziggy's steel shade is cut through with a repeating diamond lattice, so the light doesn't stay flat behind a solid surface, it escapes in dozens of small diamond shaped pieces across the whole drum. Switched off, the pattern reads almost like jewellery. Switched on, the opal glass diffuser inside softens every cut out into a warm glow.
Cool lacquered silver
The pierced steel outer shade is finished in a lacquered silver that comes across as a cool, understated grey rather than a bright chrome shine. Inside it, an opal glass diffuser does the actual work of softening the bulb, so the diamond pattern glows evenly rather than throwing sharp points of light.
How It Works
This is the small duo mount version of Ziggy, supplied with four rods so you can set the drop anywhere from 23.5cm up to 117.5cm depending on your ceiling height. If your ceiling is on the low side, you can skip the rods altogether and fit it as a semi flush light instead. It takes a single E27 bulb, not included, and is dimmable when used with dimmable bulbs.
Where It Works Best
The cool grey finish suits contemporary rooms with chrome, brushed steel or other cool toned metal already in the space. It works well as a single pendant over a console table or reading corner in a living room or bedroom, and its compact size also makes it a good fit for a hallway or stairwell where a full sized fitting would feel too heavy.
Elstead Lighting

What bulb does the Ziggy pendant take? It takes a single E27 bulb, and we recommend an E27 LED. The bulb is not included.
Can I fit the Ziggy pendant close to the ceiling? Yes. It's supplied with four rods for a drop between 23.5cm and 117.5cm, but if your ceiling is low you can leave the rods off and fit it as a semi flush light instead.
Is the Ziggy pendant dimmable? Yes, as long as you fit a dimmable E27 bulb. A non dimmable bulb will not dim even on a dimmer switch circuit.
