Elstead York Single Flush Half Lantern - Black

The York flush lantern takes the shape of an old English coach light and flattens it against the wall, so you get the character of a proper lantern without it jutting out into a doorway or path.

Cast aluminium and weatherproof glass

Cast entirely from diecast aluminium and finished in black, with textured glass panels on the front and sides that catch the light and blur the bulb into a softer glow rather than a bare, glaring point.

How it works

Runs on a single E27 bulb, not included, and is dimmable with a dimmable bulb fitted. Rated IP23, so it's built for sheltered outdoor spots rather than direct exposure to driving rain.

Where it works best

Its low, flush profile makes it a good fit for porches, narrow side passages or anywhere a projecting lantern would be knocked or catch on a door swinging open.
