Elstead Windsor 4 Light Pendant - Graphite

An open frame, built for light

Rather than sitting behind a shade, the Windsor 4 Light Pendant leaves its four candle lamps out in the open, held by curved steel uprights that sweep up from a wide ring to a central stem. Small ball finials mark the ring, and a cut out cross and fleur motif runs around the band itself.

Graphite Finish

This version is finished in a deep graphite rather than the range's warmer gold patina, giving the metalwork a darker, more pared back ironwork look. There are no crystal drops on this version, so the emphasis stays on the shape of the frame and the cutwork detail around the band.

How It Works

Four E14 lamp holders sit openly around the ring, so the fitting still reads as a feature before any bulb is switched on. We recommend dimmable LED candle bulbs, which are not supplied. The chain lets the drop be adjusted from around 65.2cm up to 215.6cm at installation, and the fitting will dim if wired to a dimmer switch and fitted with dimmable bulbs.

Where It Works Best

The graphite finish leans more country kitchen than formal dining room, and works well as a single statement hung over an island or breakfast table, or in twos or threes along a run of ceiling in an open plan kitchen or dining space.

Elstead Lighting

Windsor is part of the Elstead Lighting collection. The brand takes its name from The Elstead Forge in Alton, Hampshire, where its history began, and remains led by the same Lucas family today. The same coronet shape is also available as a six light chandelier and a single wall light, plus a gold patina finish with faceted crystal drops for a dressier look.

Does the Windsor 4 Light Pendant come with bulbs? No. It takes four E14 candle style bulbs, and we recommend LEDs, but they are not included.

Can I adjust how low the Windsor pendant hangs? Yes. The chain allows the drop to be adjusted from around 65.2cm up to 215.6cm, so it can sit high over an island or lower for a more intimate pool of light.

Is the Windsor pendant in graphite dimmable? Yes, as long as you fit dimmable bulbs. A non dimmable bulb will not dim even on a dimmer switch circuit.
