Elstead Windsor 4 Light Pendant - Graphite

An open, airy frame

Rather than a solid shade, the Windsor pendant is built from curved steel uprights that sweep from a wide ring up to a central stem, leaving the four candle lamps sitting in open air. Small ball finials mark the ring, and a cut out cross and fleur motif runs around the band itself.

Graphite finish

Here the frame is finished in a deep graphite, giving it a much more understated, ironwork look than its gold patina sibling. There's no crystal detailing on this version, so the emphasis stays on the shape of the metalwork itself.

How it works

Four E14 candle bulbs light the fitting from within the ring, so it works well left bare and on show. The chain can be shortened or lengthened to suit, giving a drop of roughly 65cm up to 215cm.

Where it works best

The graphite finish leans more country kitchen than formal dining room, and works nicely as a single statement over an island or breakfast table, or in twos or threes along a run of ceiling.
