A ceiling light that adapts to the room
The Windsor 3 Light Semi-Flush Fitting hangs an opal glass bowl beneath a wrought metal frame, with a fleur de lis style medallion running down the centre. It can sit close to the ceiling as a semi-flush or drop lower on its chain as a pendant, whichever suits the room.
Graphite
The frame, chain and medallion are all finished in a dark graphite, giving the ironwork a solid, slightly weathered look against the pale glow of the opal glass. It has more presence than a plain flush fitting without the drama of a full chandelier.
How it works
Three E27 lamp holders sit inside the bowl, so the light is softened and spread by the glass rather than shining out directly. The chain length can be set at installation to run the fitting close to the ceiling or lower it as a pendant.
Where it works best
It suits a kitchen or dining room where a plain flush fitting would look underwhelming, particularly where the ceiling is on the lower side and a full chandelier would sit too close for comfort.
