A porch light that hangs rather than sits
Where most of the Winchester range fixes flat to a wall or ceiling, this version swings gently on its own chain. The same square, cross barred glass panels and pyramid roof carry over, but the drop gives it a slightly different presence, more like a hall lantern than a fixed porch light.
Finish
Black painted die cast aluminium frame with textured glass panels on all four sides, so the fitting throws light outward rather than in one direction only.
How it works
The chain suspension is adjustable, giving a drop of between roughly 40cm and 52.5cm, so you can set the lantern at a sensible head height for your porch. One E27 lamp holder sits inside, and as a Class I fitting it needs a proper earth connection, so have it fitted by a qualified electrician.
Where it works best
Suits a recessed porch or covered entrance with enough ceiling height to let the lantern hang without becoming a hazard to anyone tall walking underneath.
