Elstead Wexford Single Up Wall Lantern with PIR - Black & Silver

An up lantern that switches itself on

This is the Wexford up lantern with a PIR sensor built into the wall bracket, so instead of leaving it on a timer or switch, the light comes on by itself as soon as it senses movement nearby.

Black with a silver edge

The finish matches the rest of the range, cast in black with brushed silver through the roof and finial, and glazed with textured glass set in a diamond lead pattern that shows clearly once the bulb is lit.

How it works

Fit a single E27 bulb and the built in sensor takes care of switching the lantern on when someone approaches, then off again after a short while. It sits neatly into the bracket rather than as an obvious add on box.

Where it works best

A natural choice for a side gate, a back door, or anywhere you want light to appear automatically rather than relying on someone flicking a switch in the dark.

It shares its glass and casting with the standard Wexford up lantern, so the two can be used together where you want sensor operated light in some spots and manual switching in others.
