A half lantern with a full lantern look
The Wexford Half Lantern is built to sit flush against a wall while still giving you the character of a proper carriage lantern: a domed cap, boxy glazed body and a diamond of leaded glass set into textured, water effect panes.
Finish
Cast in black with brushed silver picking out the edges and fixings, the finish has enough depth and shading that it still reads as a lantern rather than a flat plaque, even mounted close to the wall.
How it works
Two E27 lamp holders sit behind the glass, angled to throw light out through all four panes rather than in one direction, which helps it work as a porch or entrance light rather than a purely decorative fitting.
Where it works best
Its shallow depth makes it a good option for porches, arches or tighter side passages where a projecting lantern would stick out too far. It also pairs easily with the wider Wexford range if you want a matching lamp post or pedestal light further down the path.
