A statement for the table
Cast in the shape of a medieval wagon wheel, this eight light chandelier hangs from a spread of chains that gather into a strong central column, giving it real presence over a dining table or kitchen island.
Finish
The wrought iron frame is finished in graphite black, a deep matte tone that reads more like worked metal than a painted surface. Eight sturdy arms carry candle style holders around the ring, each one finished with a small turned drop below.
How it works
The bulbs sit openly on the arms rather than behind shades, so the fitting reads as much as sculpture as light source. The chain is adjustable at the point of installation, with a drop that runs from 61cm up to 252cm, so it will settle correctly whether your ceilings are low or soaring.
Where it works best
At 95cm across, it suits a kitchen or dining room where it can hang low over a table without crowding the space, and the exposed ironwork holds its own against beams, flagstones or an otherwise pared back scheme.
