Elstead Taiko Single Wall Light - Olde Bronze

Take the shade off the Taiko and what is left is the sculpture itself, a single candle bulb caught inside a tangle of bronze rods fixed flat against the wall.

Finished in Olde Bronze throughout, this single wall light has no shade to soften it, so the crossed metal is the whole design, not just a detail glimpsed underneath a larger fitting.

How it works

One E14 bulb sits exposed at the centre of the rod cluster, so the light itself becomes part of the pattern, throwing crossed shadows up the wall around it.

Where it works best

Good either side of a fireplace, flanking a mirror in a hallway, or spaced along a run of wall in a living or dining room where you want a feature rather than background light.

It is a compact way to bring the same sculptural language as the larger Taiko pendants into a room with no ceiling fitting to hang from.
